Half Term Fun At RSPB Purfleet

Local children enjoyed some half term fun on the Trust funded Ant Hill at the RSPB reserve in Purfleet.

On a sunny, but damp morning the children (Joshua Wilson, Ethan Wilson, Coby Delaney, Louis Wayland, Henry Gray, Tom Gray) used up some of their energy, climbing the anthill and exploring it’s tunnels. When the rain started falling we all headed to the visitor centre for some welcoming refreshments. The Trust would like to say a massive thank you to all of them for coming along and allowing us to take their photographs.

The ant hill is just one of the many projects that the RSPB have been able to complete thanks to funding from this Trust. In the past the Trust has also helped to fund the new visitor centre, wildlife and nature trails, signage, boardwalks and many other projects.
