Trustees attended the official opening of Rainham Hall on Tuesday 20th October 2015.
A grant of £252,080 went towards the stable block restoration project.
The stable block which was converted into a garage in the 1920s is now a magnificent café with under floor heating and new glass doors. The café and gardens are open to the general public everyday and form a very important community hub in Rainham.
The upstairs of the stable block is now a bright open space which will be used for both public events and for educational events for local school children visiting the Hall.
The Hall itself has also undergone major restoration and will be used for regular exhibitions helping to impart the history of Rainham to those that attend
